ABOUT RICHARD RICCELLI

Today, an influential creative force, Richard’s career began as a copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather Direct in New York. Later Richard joined Bozell & Jacobs Direct in Minneapolis before returning home to become the creative head of direct response advertising for BBDO's Boston office. In 1987, he formed the agency that is now Richard Riccelli, Inc.

Richard is distinctive in his ability to create a brand response – the considerable result gained when memorable, brand-building advertising effectively combines with measurable, response-driven direct marketing. He specializes in writing and designing that kind of big-idea, game-changing, creative subscription advertising for publishers and circulation directors of world-leading magazines, newspapers, and newsletters—and has numerous Caples, Echos, and Folio awards to show for it.

Prior to working exclusively with publishing clients, Richard also created advertising for American Express, Burpee, Fidelity Investments, Merrill-Lynch, Sears, and several other businesses large and small.

Richard graduated Kent State University with a degree in Journalism.
